The Live Imaging and Bioenergetics Facility hostes multiple state-of-arts instrument including:
- Zeiss LSM 880 Airyscan inverted live cell confocal microscope
- Zeiss LSM 880 Airyscan upright two photon confocal microscope
- Imaris Analysis Workstations
- Leica CS2 Aperio CS2 Slide Scanner
- Agilent Seahorse XFe24 Live Cell Metabolism Analyzer
We support a range of applications including
- Time-lapse live cell imaging with high-resolution optical sectioning
- Deep imaging of fixed CLARITY tissues
- Calcium imaging
- Fluorescence Recovery After Photobleaching (FRAP)
- Förster Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET)
- Laser ablation
- Second-harmonic generation (SHG)
- 4-D imaging analysis
- Measuring mitochondrial respiration and glycolysis in live cells in real time
